Welcome to Colorado!

Our first stop was Colorado Springs, where we
ran at the Garden of the Gods.

If you noticed in the above pictures it goes
from sunny and 80 degrees to snowy, and that was within 24 hours!
Luckily we hit Pikes Peak the day before the
storm.
I couldn't imagine what the weather would have been like at
14,000ft up!

Also in Colorado Springs was one of 3 US
Olympic Team Training Centres.

Finally, before leaving town we visited the
Cave of the Winds. Very cool!

Now we were off to Boulder, the home of the CU
Buffaloes. Welcome to Boulder!
We stayed at the Boulder International hostel.

Little did we know that the Ramsey House
(JonBennet) was just up the street.

The first long run of our trip was on Magnolia
Road. Man, that was hard. At 9000ft up, the air is thin to say
the least.

Ofcourse we took the next day off. So we went
to check out the University of Colorado Campus.

One thing we noticed while on campus was the
abundance of beautiful women. Here's our "Best of
Boulder". As you'll see though, when you just finish an engineering degree, just about anyone can make the list :)

Next we ran at the Boulder Reservoir. The
rolling hills were a comforting sight.

Rocky Mountain National Park was also only 30
mins from us in Boulder. Another run at 9000ft.

On our way out, we stopped in the town of Estes Park.

Last but not least, we ran at the Flatirons on
the west side of Boulder.

So after all the running, this is how I really
felt.

Although, that might have been because of our
diet.

On the day of our departure, we checked out
Mount Flagstaff, by car thank God!

All in all, the trip was amazing and Sath and I
are both looking forward to another pilgrimage next year.
Goodbye.
