UIUC - Semester 1 Pictures
Before heading to the midwest, I spent a week in Fredericton with Srin and Lindsay. I hadn't seen Lindsay in about a year cause she went to France on for an experience abroad. We had a lot of fun swimming across the lake, kayaking and eating lots of lobster.

I've finally arrived! This may just be the last school I ever attend. I had a picture of our outdoor track but can't find it anymore, it's amazing. Anyways, people told me that all I'd see out here is cornfields, well along with there being tons of beautiful undergrads on campus, the town of Urbana is actually a beautiful place.

This is the Saturday of the Labour Day weekend. The weather was nice so I thought I'd go around and take some pictures of the campus. In order, here are the Beckmann Institute (where my office is), Everitt Lab (all my classes), and the outdoor long course pool. If this was a weekday, I swear the deck would be covered in bikini-clad women.

Here are two pictures that fully describe the Shanbhag brothers ...

For the first time since coming to UI, I left town for a weekend. It was Homecoming at Waterloo so I couldn't miss my first one. I really miss everyone back there, I had such a great time with all of them.
The weekend started off with helping time at the Brock vs UW meet, and then an evening at Dairy Queen (come on, what'd you expect!). Next, the actual alumni meet was on Saturday morning. There were a couple guys who showed up whom I hadn't seen in a couple years. And better yet, I met some of this year's rookies (Carrie, that was for you). Finally, my weekend ended off with an evening of partying with the swimmers ... man I miss those days.

The end of my first semester is finally here. Man, what a relief. On the day before I left for home, I helped Julie and Sheetal move out (pic 1). Then there are some pictures of what it looked like in Fredericton when I came in (beautiful). Finally, a bunch of Christmas time photos of family and friends (Marg and Kath, Mike and Me, the Family).

And that is it for yet another year. This year took me to more places around the world than I had ever seen before in one year (France, Vancouver, Colorado, California, and finally Illinois) and, although many of you may not agree, this is the first year that I feel I have matured a bit. Maybe not to the age of 23, but somewhere near there ... a step in the right direction.
