Settled into the hotel in Jasper, IN.

On race morning, Seb and I had time to drive the course. Thank God I did because it allowed me to do some serious strategizing and also witness the beautiful scenery.

It was a small race (the first picture is the entire group of starting runners). Nonetheless, it was damn painful in the end.

Luckily there were only a few people in my age group, so I came away with a podium finish!
